Student Welfare Committee

The Student Welfare Committee at St Lourdes College of Nursing is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of all students throughout their academic journey. The committee works to create a supportive environment that addresses students' needs and enhances their overall college experience.

Through various initiatives and services, the committee aims to support students in their academic, personal, and professional development, ensuring they have access to the resources and assistance they need to succeed.

Functions of Student Welfare Committee

  • Address the issues reported by the students
  • Monitor the facilities availed by the students- medical, financial
  • Conduct orientation programme for novice students
  • Handle drop out related issues
  • Provide an environment for emotional, spiritual and social growth

Objectives

  • To support the students with various services.
  • To recommend on policies relating to students welfare
  • To recommend on the enhancement of students' facilities during their course of study
  • To address the relevant issues of students and give suggestions
